NSS News - 1950s, 1960s

Postby Bern Szukalski » Nov 27, 2005 2:18 am

I'm looking to fill in a few holes in my NSS News collection and am looking for various issues in the 1950s and 1960s.

I have a wide range of issues starting in 1959 and going up through 1979 to trade.

If you're missing issues in your collection, let's compare holes!

Bern,

The NSS Office has many, many back issues. I think they have a listing you can get showing what is available, too.

Thanks, Phil, I'll give the office a shot but didn't think they'd have issues going back into the 50s and 60s.

Nevertheless, if anyone wants to do some trading, let me know.

Hey, thanks all for pointing me towards places I can buy these. I'm looking to trade the extra issues I've got for the ones I need.

So, all your capitalists, back off  I can spend my money easily enough on my own

If you are really interested in GIS software, here's a couple of options for you:

If you are a student, and you belong to a University with an ESRI site license, ESRI offers a student rate for all ArcGIS software at $100/year.

If you are a member of or otherwise affiliated with a cave conservancy. cave survey, or similar organization that is interested in utilizing GIS for management/research/conservation purposes, ESRI offers other options through software grant programs.

I can also send you an ArcGIS workbook that includes a limited time software license if you just want to experiment and try it out for a while.

If you think you qualify or are interested in any of the above, contact me at bszukalski @ esri.com for more details, and you can also visit http://www.esri.com/cave

PS - I'm about to give up on this thread, but just in case -- anyone interested in trading old NSS News issues?
