Hello everyone :waving:

I just wanted to let you all know that FoxFury released its Command Series last month. The Command is slimmer, lighter and lower profile than our Performance Series and comes with 3 modes.

The Command Series comes in 10 or 20 LED versions. They are water resistant and have a new 4 AA battery pack with a flashing Red LED in the back to help to be seen.

You can find more info at: http://www.foxfury.com/products/command/tactical_20.htm

The Command 20 Tactical Headlamp is shown below.

That is very neat! I'm thinking it would be great and will consider it for my next light.

Also, I showed the website to my wife who works with the blind at the VA. She does a lot of low vision work and was very interested in the low vision version offered. It might be one more very nice tool in her kit to help her veterans.

Being a lumen freak  , I might add one of these under my stenlight. I still miss the smooth flood of some nichias. I will check them out at IMO's tent at SERA, assuming they have them by then..

That's what I was thinking. . . . it would fit so nicely right under my standard headlamp.

Thanks JoeyS and YuccaPatrol for that insight--I had not considered using the Command below another (standard) headlamp.

I would imagine that the 20 LED (as opposed to the 10) version would be a much better fit for Caving.

For those interested, Inner Mountain Outfitters will have our Command and Performance lights at the NSS Convention.

The Command 10 and 20 (along with our Pro III) are our newest headlamps. The Performance headlamps were used in the recent History Channel documentary "Journey to the Center of the World."
