The apex is still available through Eastern Mountain Sports retail stores. Yor can check the EMS website for store locations. Perhaps you have one in your state. If not call one, they'll tell you if they have any and can ship it to you for the same price as the online store would. Of course you have to add the shipping. I believe it's $5.95.
If you live in a state with sales tax and have an EMS in your state, they will add sales tax.
I checked my 2 local stores and they had a total of 12 lights.

The other retail store locations probalbly have about the same number each.
