This auction is closed since there were no bids

Auction for a softbound copy of "An Inventory and Evaluation of the Cave Resources to be Impacted by the New Melones Reservoir Project, Calaveras and Toulumne Counties, California" by Michael McEachern and Mark Grady. This is the final report submitted to the Sacramento District Office of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is in an 8.5x11 inch format with 102 pages. It lists 87 caves in this area that would be inundated by the controversial dam that was put in despite the protests of cavers, boaters, and others! Lots of maps that go along with the cave descriptions and a few pictures. The beginning part of this document is broken up into rankings for historical, geological, paleontological, biological, recreational, etc. and then shows the rankings of the caves in that area. This was put out in January 1978 and is considered "The Bible" of that area, although it doesn't show specific points where the caves are located.

Auction begins today, November 10th and will end at 12 noon on the 24th of November. Let's start the bidding at $20 and go up in $1 increments. Postage will be in a bubble wrap envelope for protection and will be an additional $4.
