Auction #121: "Cumberland Caverns" - First Edition

Auction #121 is for a new copy of "Cumberland Caverns" by Larry E. Matthews, 1989. This is the First Edition. It is paperback, 5.25 X 8.25, 318 pages, Black and White Photos, and lots of maps.

Ironically, the photos on pages 112, 123, 125, 145, 150, 152, 165, and 169 were LOST when Roy Davis' home was destroyed by a fire, so the Second and Third Editions do not have these old photos from the early years of the exploration of the cave.

I'll start this auction at $5. Subsequent bids must be in even, dollar amounts. Postage will be an additional $2. No International Shipments. This auction starts today, March 9, and ends in two weeks on April 23 at 8:00 pm CDT.

By the way..............it took me 7 years to write this book, in the days before computers. I wrote it out, longhand, on Legal Pads. Ugh !!!

No, I did not keep the Manuscript.

And, there were multiple drafts for each chapter. Took me f-o-r-e-v-e-r !!! I swore I would never write another book and didn't for sixteen years !!!
