Here is a really nice, Hardbound book, 5.75 X 8.25, 222 pages long, with the Dust Jacket. Shows some wear, but in pretty good shape. There is an old nameplate for Albert L. Fullerton, Jr. inside the Front Cover and my name and NSS number written on the facing page. This is the First Edition (in English ???). The original version was printed in French.

Tazieff was a world-famous geologist and explorer. This book describes the discovery and exploration of the caves of Pierre Saint-Martin. The exploration took place in the 40s and 50s. There are some nice Black and White photos and a few maps. Truly a historic book. This is still a World-Class cave. A very exciting book to read. I first read this book when I was in High School.
