DistoX for sale

Hi all,

I have a DistoX for sale. The board has been installed and the DistoX has been calibrated but has not been used for surveying. It calibrates well and holds calibration. This DistoX was produced from the latest batch of boards from Kevin Dixon this past summer.

Reason for sale: Unfortunately, due to my new job, I am away from home and familiar cave land and do not have the time to survey. This DistoX is better in someone elses hands.

Ending date and time: April 3rd @ 11:59pm (In two weeks)

The board was 180 GB pounds sterling. The Disto A3 was $112.50 USD. Board installation was $10.00 USD. After looking at my paypal statement and figuring out the conversion rate to USD at time of purchase, I come up with a total purchase price of $402.91.

My minimum price would be $350.00 (shipping not included). PLEASE START BIDDING AT $350.00 WITH A MINIMUM OF $5 USD INCREMENT BIDS.

The DistoX is the survey unit that measures inclination, compass angle, and distance all with the press of a button. It has bluetooth technology which allows one to take a PDA into a cave with them while using their favorite software program (pocket topo, auriga, etc) to sketch around an imported (via bluetooth) lineplot. One can read the first page and also go to the Downloads at the bottom of the page and read just about anything one wants to know about the DistoX unit and its functionality.

I guess I took it into assumption that everyone in the caving community knew what the DistoX did. You all can continue your bickery OR we can actually get to bidding starting at $350.00. Continuing the bickery doesnt do anything but waste energy that is not needed. The DistoX will reside with me if the price does not exceed $350.00. I thought I would get rid of it and allow someone in the caving community the opportunity to upgrade their equipment. However, kind gestures apparently do not mean anything. Either way, im not at a loss. Just thought I would help out.
