Kavelight P60 Headlamp

Postby kevinm » Mar 12, 2012 12:44 am

Hi all,

I have not yet put up a sales page on CaveChat, but I have made my own headlamp (and some more to sell). The information thread on Candle Power Forums is here:

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/sho ... 0-Headlamp

Brief details:
-1000 lumens with standard configuration (up to 2000 possible so far, more to come)
-durable and waterproof (IP68, at least; haven't tested it further)
-hard anodized red (2 mil coating)
-waterproof, dust proof, mechanical, non-magnetic 10 Amp switch (good for survey)
-cable with your choice of length and connectors (waterproof, fire resistant, chemical resistant, radiation resistant)
-blade mount (non-magnetic)
-runs on 1-4 18650 cells enclosed in an aluminum battery box

I'm thinking $280 plus shipping (usually $10) for the headlamp with 1000 lumen drop in, charger, and a set of 4 18650 batteries (2600mAh variety).

I can program modes on some drop-ins, too. I just need to know what you want. I have 12 that are not yet spoken for. Not sure if I'm going to do another run yet.

Oh, and the name...suggestions? I thought about Newt Light, but people on CPF hated that one.

Thanks for looking!

Kevin

You've done a kickass job on this light man! I am even more impressed with your price. Very tempting.
