Auction #19: Prehistoric Remains in Big Bone Cave

Actually, the full title of this fascinating publication is:

"Final Report on the Survey and Assessment of the Prehistoric and Historic Archaeological Remains in Big Bone Cave, Van Buren County, Tennessee" by George M. Crothers. Printed April, 1986. It is 66 pages long, printed on one side only and put together with one of those funky plactic, spiral-type binders.

But, despite the lack of fancy printing quality, it is a treasure-trove of information on Big Bone Cave. It was published by the Department of Anthropology, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee. Great photos of Indian artifacts and great maps of the cave.

I doubt seriously if over 100 of these were printed.

Same rules as always: Opening bid is $1.00. All bids must be in even dollar amounts. Postage and handling are $3.00 extra. Item will be mailed in a Padded Mailer.

Auction starts today, Friday, September 2 and ends next Saturday, September 10 at 7 pm.
