Speleotechnics Nova 5 batteries for sale or trade!!!

Hello, I have two Speleotechnics NiMH helmet packs for the NOVA 5 that I would like to sell or trade for a FX3 battery. Please make an offer either on this forum or email me at <paulmoser@hotmail.com> . Does anyone have any suggestions on a more sustainable power pack for this unit? Also has anyone modified this unit with any success? Like make the head smaller? or spliced in a different power plant?

Hello Paul

An extra battery is your best option because the cable is different for the FX3

The "large metal round blade that circumnavigates my lamp" is absolutely essential as it is the heat-sink for the LED

We now have the Nova 3 which gives almost as much light as your Nova5 for about half the current consumption.

"Your compitition, the Stenlite, is getting a little more attention". Is it waterproof?
