And when might that be? I'm hoping to be doing another sump trip in a few weeks, and I'll be needing a pack or two or 4. I'm sure you won't have them by then, but I figured I'd ask.

I'll probably start the process for another big order in the next week or so. But, I doubt the colors will be avaliable for shipment until late Dec or early Jan.

Hey John, Will you be getting any of the Speleo 21 made with the heavy duty PVC 900g/m2 material?

So...are you getting any more of the cave suits? And what happened to the promised pictures?

Thanks,

Sorry for the late reply(s) guys! I've been doing some extended field testing. :big grin:

Carl - I don't have any of the Speleo 21's in but I should have the Speleo 28 in Red, Yellow, Blue and Green early in 2011! If there is interest in the Speleo 21 I will gladly import a batch!

Kevin - I promise I'll get a picture of the suit. However, the material may be a little light. I'll post something up here soon. Sorry for the delay!

I would like to add that I have purchased one of these 28L packs from John about 6 months ago ( I think) and it has definitely held up VERY well. Dispite scratches to the surface it hasnt recieved any real damage. The one cave I lug this pack through has a 480 foot crawlway that you must drag the pack through. Its downhill one way and up hill the other. Thats nearly 1000 feet of dragging that this pack recieves upon every trip just in the MAIN crawlway alone. I would say I have visited this cave at least 10-12 times since I purchased the pack. Thats 2 miles of dragging just in the MAIN crawlway alone. I couldnt give ya an accurate footage on the total dragging but at least you know it's over 2 miles of dragging over loose jagged rocks, bedrock, and dirt. The pack has lugged a Hilti rotary hammer drill with necessities, as well as survey equipment, snacks and drinks, etc. at the same time. So it's seen weight and seen weight quite often. I can honestly say that this pack definitely holds up much better than any other pack i've had.
There's nothing that makes me more excited than finding a place underground that no one has ever seen or been in!

Great news! My latest shipment of Landjoff packs is here. I have 28L and 42L in Yellow, Red, Blue and Green - all in tough 900g PVC.

I'm thinking about getting some 21L packs and smaller 8L tackle bags.

Get them while they're hot!

Back by popular demand! I have another order of Landjoffs in. This time I have:

42L = $50
28L = $45
21L = $35
5L = $15

Available in Yellow, Red, Green and Blue! Same tough 900g / m^2 PVC. I think the 21L is going to be a big hit as a great pack for day trips!

So...what happened to the cave suit photos you mentioned in December? :doh:

Are you bringing some to the NSS convention?

What would one use a 5 L for? I'm trying to picture just how big that is...almost seems nice for a light trip or something.

H 12.6 in X W 5.7 inches with a circular bottom .... basically think of an 2.5 quart jug of milk. Personally I don't know why they call it a 5 liter.....

How is that 5 L? 5L is like a gallon and a half. :/

Agreed! It would be about 5.6 quarts but I have one of the 5L packs and it would not fit 5 quarts into it. *shrug* Different system of measurement which would not surprise me.
