I would like to add that I have purchased one of these 28L packs from John about 6 months ago ( I think) and it has definitely held up VERY well. Dispite scratches to the surface it hasnt recieved any real damage. The one cave I lug this pack through has a 480 foot crawlway that you must drag the pack through. Its downhill one way and up hill the other. Thats nearly 1000 feet of dragging that this pack recieves upon every trip just in the MAIN crawlway alone. I would say I have visited this cave at least 10-12 times since I purchased the pack. Thats 2 miles of dragging just in the MAIN crawlway alone. I couldnt give ya an accurate footage on the total dragging but at least you know it's over 2 miles of dragging over loose jagged rocks, bedrock, and dirt. The pack has lugged a Hilti rotary hammer drill with necessities, as well as survey equipment, snacks and drinks, etc. at the same time. So it's seen weight and seen weight quite often. I can honestly say that this pack definitely holds up much better than any other pack i've had.
There's nothing that makes me more excited than finding a place underground that no one has ever seen or been in!
