rebuilding formations-methods, materials?

Postby glassgnom » Nov 14, 2009 5:28 pm

Working at a local show cave, I have an opportunity to do some restoration work in a few weeks. We are "restoring" formations that were taken years ago-the pieces are gone, and using pure concrete to make extensions of the original formation is not that great an idea. Anyone out there have a mixture that would more resemble natural formations? BTW, I researched this on the forum, and got some good cleanup tips. Any advice would be appreciated.
