cave preservation

Postby FLkrakr » Aug 16, 2007 8:08 pm

Hi..newbie here. I'm trying to find some help in preserving a cave that is located on my grandmother's property in Citrus County, FL. The last phase of the Suncoast Parkway is being readied to go through and it will be within less than a quarter mile of these caves. I was wondering what can be done to make sure the caves will not be destroyed/damaged when the road goes through...or if it could even be stopped.
Would appreciate ANY help I can get, or getting pointed in the right directions toward help.
Thanks.

Diane,

I will pass your info onto the Tampa Bay Area Grotto. They are the caving group closest to that area and they may be able to help you.

If you need anything else you can PM me here.
