I have seen a 75 foot continuous rimstone dam that is about 12 inches tall? In china there is a 200 foot continuous dam, but I think 75 is the largest in the united states.

Shelta Cave in Huntsville has a very large rimstone dam. About 6 ft high, but I forget how long.

The rimstone river cave here in perry co has a metric ton of rimstone dam's. i think the ones in the candle canyon are a bit taller than i am. Not sure how wide they are (read the rimstone book). i have yet to get into that passage.

There is a 2 ft. tall dry rimstone dam in the River Room of Arkansas' Little Bear Cave that if measured would surely be 100+ ft. long. I'd never thought about it before, but it is the longest one I've ever seen.
good caving
