Looks like a colonial tabulate coral, if I remember from about 20 years ago!!!!

I think it is some kind of coral.

Or freshly ground hamburger...

It is definately a tabulate coral. It looks like Syringopora sp., which is very common in Mississippian Ls.

A suggestion.

I vote for coral, too.

But, it would have been very helpful to have some kind of scale in the photograph. Even a finger would do.

Did you ask Patty Perlaky, the cave manager? She has a degree in geology.
