Thenardite?

Thenardite?

Hello Cavers & Geologists,

Recently, while exploring a fairly large lava tube, I encountered a white, frothy, cotton-candy looking mineral on the cave floor that I assume is thenardite. It looked very fragile. What are the conditions necessary for the formation of this mineral?
