Does the flexural strength of a soda straw decrease when it dries up? I realize I haven't seen many dry soda straws of considerable length. Is this because they get weaker, have more chances to get broken, I'm not looking in the right place?

This is an interesting question. I will give it some thought. I have been into some dry caves, but not checked out such things. Good luck. Al Copley 20845
