M2 Blue Cave and Blacksmoke Cave have underwater passages that pass completely underneath the (northern) Withlacoochee River in north Florida.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the link. In case you or others are wondering, the 'underground river' that is mentioned in this story is really just normal groundwater flow in a granular aquifer. For some reason, groundwater flow is often portrayed as subterranean rivers in media.

There are several caves that meet your criteria in West Virginia. They are under the Greenbiar River.
