The Hart County Chamber of Commerce and the Horse Cave Rotary Club are sponsoring FloydFest 2009--A Tribute to Floyd Collins--One of the Greatest Cave Explorers Who Ever Lived. Proceeds will be going to support the American Cave Conservation Associaion's educational and conservation projects. We hope to make this an annual event.
FloydFest will be on April 25th, 2009 from 10AM - 4 PM Central Time
FloydFest 2009 events include:
* NPS guided tour of the Floyd Collins' homeplace.
* NPS guided tour of Sand Cave Trail.
*A visit to Floyd's final resting place in Mammoth Cave Baptist Church cementary on Flint Ridge.
*A private screening of Peridot Picture's : The Floyd Collins' Story
*View one of the world's largest private collections of Floyd Collins memorabilia.
*Period music by Hazel Johnson, Dave Foster, and the Sunnyland Radio Show.
*Guided tours of Hidden River Cave and the American Cave Museum.
The event starts at the American Cave Museum and Hidden River Cave in downtown Horse Cave, Kentucky.

Cost for ADULTS (ages 14 and OVER) $30.00
CHILDREN(ages 14 and UNDER) $20.00
