2008 KARST-O-RAMA

Postby InTucky » Jun 24, 2008 1:04 pm

Just curious to see who all is going to karst-o-rama this year. This will be my first kor, and I can't wait :kewl: This will also be my first caving trip, since I had surgery in Jan. There will be about 10 in our group, so look for us near the creek, by the big ditch in the roadway.......Stop in, and say howdy! :cavingrocks: :there yet:
I don't know how long it is
Yes we have to go back the same way!
Dry Socks.......Gods greatest creation!

My girlfriend, her parents, nephew and myself will be there. Look for a bunch of people that don't know much about caving in a truck camper and a big ol' class A.

Glad to hear ya can make it. For your first caving event, I'll give you 2 cents worth of advise...when you get to the registration tent, tell em who you are & what your there for. They may be a little busy but if your patient you'll get pointed in the right direction.

If all goes as planned, I'll be there with my girlfriends new travel trailer. I've never pulled anything like that before, should be an experience. Look for us in a v-nose trailer that says V-Lite on the front. I've always been a tent or back of the truck camper...hope this "mobile home" thing does'nt spoil me too much.

Sounds like a ton of fun!!!! I cant wait. My first caving event was Cave Capers last month. Everyone was telling me if I had fun there, that I need to go to KOR. So they really had to twist my arm (just kidding, Anything invovling getting underground is cool for me!!!!), I had to come and check it out. Its kinda :off topic: but I saw intucky 's signature says dry socks are great, but I love my "wet socks" made out of wetsuit material. They are awesome. I wouldnt trade them for anything!!! They keep my feet warm no matter what!!!

Post a pic here. Or better yet, in the Speleo-Marketplace forum. Sounds like a good deal. I might be interested.
