Caves Exhibition Opening Reception
Join the Teton County library celebrating the opening of the Smithsonian Institution’s traveling exhibition “Caves: A Fragile Wilderness,” with back-to-back talks about an intriguing animal associated with caves – the bat. At 5 p.m., bat biologist Annie Band presents “Bats: Myths and Realities” with colorful images. At 6 p.m., Jonathon Friedman delves deeper into Texas’ Bracken Cave, home to millions of bats. Join Teton County Library for illustrated slide talks on Wyoming’s Great Expectations cave by Nate Fuller and caving in the Guadalupe Mountains of New Mexico by Chris Valiente.
