yes indeed

Yup! It was the only way to stay warm!

And saw one guitar player, but missed the concert. Too bad! Was there earlier on for the pass-around drumming session, though.

I was at the bonfire when one guy was strumming his guitar, then left shortly after the bongo players started.

Were y'all by any chance part of the music lovers who decided to sing till at least 5am on Sunday?

I was in no shape to stay up til 5 am on the other hand it sounds like you left about the same time I did. I was standing with a group of around 7 or 9 people near the gate to where the bonfire was.

5am? No way! I stayed up too late Friday night, so between that and the Swago trip, I was knackered.

Yep.

When it started raining, we moved to the pavilion. I played until about 4:00, I think my partner in crime called it quits just before sun up. Hope we weren't too annoying. :tonguecheek:

Was a dang good thing I had them instructions! They told me how dangerous that little mini-rack was and how risky it was for me to be going down that pit. :thanks:

I wonder if there have been rappelling accidents because the little warning tag got caught up in the rack. Instructions didn't say to take it off.

What Junkman left off of his post was that the night before he had told me, groaning in amazement, how he's been on trips where inexperienced cavers pulled out new equipment, still in the packaging, and had to figure out how to use it before rappelling or ascending. :panic:

So I kept my new rack in the plastic bag, then at the cave pulled it out and asked Junkman if he could teach me how to use it. Wish I'd had a camera ready for the look on his face!!   And it wasn't even April 1.

Did you pick up on how Junkman, our fearless leader, had abandoned me? He was already down the pit and off rigging the second one when the picture was taken. And everyone else was on the far side of the pit.... laughing. So, it was a good thing I had those instructions! :big grin:

Cheryl
(PS: It works great, and sure beats carrying my normal rack for short to medium drops.)
