East Tennessee Grotto is hosting at a Campground near Crossville TN. Dates are May 31 - June 3. They had a presentation at the TAG FAll Cave-In.

They passed out pre-registration forms at the Cave-In. I think there was a website address listed on it. You can probably access the website from their grotto website. Go to caves.org and click on the link to grottos.

I've got Cave-In "jet lag". As a staff member I was there until late this afternoon breaking down the DCG booth and helping with site clean-up. I will search out the website link tomorrow but right now I'm heading to bed.

Thanks, I was there at TAG also but I forgot when they said it was and I already lost my registration form. Thats why I was trying to find another one.
I can agree with the cave-in jetlag. I am about to fall out myself. Thanks again. Tim

I have just checked the SERA Website which only says the ETG is hosting and more information will follow. I followed the link there to the ETG website and there is nothing there about SERA CAVE CARNIVAL yet.

Maybe they will get something up soon but I am sure of the dates.

Got my flyer and form right here in front of me... It's gonna be at Camp Nakanawa in Crossville, TN. May 31- June 3, 2007. The web site apparently isn't up yet but here it is http://www.caves.org/grotto/etg/sera2007. If anyone wants a copy I suppose I could fax it to you or scan it and email it. Just let me know.

I was able to access the ETG's 2007 SERA Summer Cave Carnival web site. I'm no web expert, but I believe SERA must be captialized in the web address (I tried it lower case and upper case and it made a difference). Try this:

http://www.caves.org/grotto/etg/SERA2007

That should work. I was able to download and print the registration form. They don't have everything working just yet on the page but the form is there.

We plan on going to SERA this year. Does anyone collect License Plates? I have two from Alabama that just expired. I would rather give them away then toss them.

My Dad collects license plates. He always thinks I am the greatest son ever when I give him plates. So, I'll gladly take them off your hands. FWIW, the national license plate collectors convention is in Huntsville this year.

The NSS Bookstore will be at SERA!
Come prepared to shop..... you know, bring your checkbook, cash, or credit card. :big grin: Postage has gone up in an absurd way, so its better to shop in person.

Must haves::goodjob:
--One of the new NSS T-shirts
--Every issue of Spelo Digest, the most amazing series of caving books on the face of the earth.
--NSS decals, and a new :bat sticker:
--NSS Koozie to keep your beverage cool in the TN heat
--Last year's SERA and Convention guidebooks, if you couldn't attend.

Don't miss:
--Big Bone Cave, Dunbar Cave, The Cave Art of Tom Culverwell, On Caves and Camera.
--On Rope, Vertical, and Alpine Caving Techniques, which should be on every TAG caver's bookshelf. Learn how to use that vertical gear you're buying.
--On Station, THE authority for cave mapping. Into cave rescue? On Call is your book.
--Cave Conservation and Restoration, the amazing new reference book for every grotto and every caver who wants to take care of caves the right way.

See you there! :waving:

Well said, Cheryl.

I'll be setting out from Kansas tomorrow (Wednesday) with a "light" complement of vertical caving and camping gear. Family is going to MN to visit the grandparents. Daddy will be loose in TAG!

I'm looking at that Tom Culverwell print book
