On Sunday, January 26, from 4-8:30 p.m., the DC area caving organizations are joining forces to present a screening of the movie No Place on Earth with special guest Chris Nicola, the caver who made this movie possible.
Movie Synopsis:
While mapping out the largest cave system in Ukraine, explorer and investigator Chris Nicola discovered evidence that five Jewish families spent nearly a year and a half in the pitch-black caves to escape the Nazis. This is the story of the longest uninterrupted underground survival in recorded human history.
