Hi Everyone!

The Fourth Annual All-Girls-Cave-Trip in 2014 will be held in Idaho and hosted by the Silver Sage Grotto! This is the first year that a grotto is helping me host the event and we have a lot of wonderful things planned! If you are unfamiliar with the event, please check out the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/WomenCavers). Details to the event are below as well ...

WHEN Aug 1-3, 2014

WHERE 40 minutes outside Shoshone, Idaho (tba), primitive campground

CAVES!
This is a special treat. Silver Sage has trained leaders who have offered to get the permits and takes us to these amazing caves!
+ Saturday
Women: Gypsum Cave (gated, permit needed)
Men: Pot of Gold Cave (gated, permit needed)
+ Sunday
Jaw Dropper Cave (gated, limit on people, permit needed)
Tea Kettle Cave
Chris' Crystal Castle Cave
Spider Cave (gated, permit needed)
Owl Cave (gated, permit needed)

WHAT
Men and women are invited. The first day genders cave alone and meet at camp to discuss their trip. Then we have performers, a meeting, a guacamole contest, silly awards, etc. Conrad Foord has agreed to preform a fire dance and I am negotiating a belly dancer too! Also, there is quite a few potential speakers that will knock your socks off. The next day we all cave together. The goal is to promote caving leadership in women. Eventually I would like to make this a section of the NSS that offers special leadership opportunities and publications for women.

WHAT YOU GET

+ Guidebook including interviews of women cavers and maps
