You're invited to a Lint Camp at the Lehman Caves in Nevada's Great Basin National Park on February 8 & 9, 2013.
Dorm-type housing will be available Thursday-Sunday.
We tried some cleaning over Thanksgiving with the Southern Nevada Grotto. It went really well, and we're inspired to do some more. The cave is a pleasant 52 degrees, so you can escape some of the winter cold by heading underground. All age levels and experiences are invited.
For more info or to sign up, please contact Gretchen Baker at Gretchen_Baker@nps.gov or call (775) 234-7541.
Great Basin National Park is located in the southern Snake Range about 50 miles east of Ely, Nevada. Winters in GRBA are quite different than in summer. They have good snowshoeing and cross-country skiing opportunities. Most of the roads are closed, and you really have the park to yourself!
