Mmmmm! My favorite is Italian sparkling white wine. My favorite non-sparkling flavor is Red (merlot).

Of course only once did I meet a glass of wine I didn't like. That was a horrible Australian dry white - yuck!

Awesome Juder, you're in! We are doing 15 min sets each. How many sets you want to do is up to you. I'll let Suzi know. We have been having some jam sessions at the work weekends so come on up and jam with us!

If we make it a wine and beer tasting party, Scott M may come too!

Judy, I didn't know you play the guitar! Maybe if my friend Kevin (another guitar player) comes to TAG, I will bring him to you and Kvart to jam.

Maybe you guys could be our entertainment at the wine/beer tasting party...

Guitar

Postby Dangerjudy » Sep 16, 2005 11:50 am

Dearest Kelly, I not only play guitar, I used to play lead guitar in bands. I quit the band stuff in 97. But I still play at home all the time.

SO, as long as I manage to not hurt my arms either this weekend or the next (GAULEY FEST - I'M RAFTING THE WHOLE SHEBANG WITH A CREW THAT'S NEVER PADDLED TOGETHER BEFORE, ON A PRIVATE RAFT) I should be capable of playing quite a few tunes!

It helps if I've not been drinking beer all afternoon.

That means we will hear good music on Thursday night, and it will get progressively more...ahem...intersting through Saturday? :P

This is another good reason for you to come help us in Fern on Friday. We will keep you away from the beer during the day so you can perform well on Friday night - what do you say!! :D

Anybody planning to go to Buggy Top Cave during TAG? Is this cave all horizontal?

I'll be there. Along with my friends that love to party and play music. They play the guitar, banjo, and mandolin. We had a great jam session with some other cavers last year in our campsite.

the Hike to the cave is pretty cool too, I think it is around 2.5 miles one way and around 500ft. of elevation loss/gain. The cave has 3 entrances, and it's a really short trip to do all three entrances.

My group is also planning on going to Bible Springs and some caves up in the Fiery Gizzard area if anyone is interested. That trip will include wetsuits in one cave, bouncing a nearby 155ft. pit, and doing some horizontal caves. I think we will be camping with the NIG(northern Indiana grotto), but that may change.

If anyone can lead a Mcbrides trip, I am also interested in that, and some other pits, or something wet.
