ANNOUNCEMENT! 2 months to go until the TAG Fall Cave-In!

The TAG Fall Cave-in is 2 months away and there's a lot going on...

We are having a planning meeting on August 12 @ Photobooks (directions) in Atlanta. Everyone is invited! Come out and join us as we discuss improvements, changes, and exchange ideas.

Pre-registration is in full bloom!
Deadline is August 31 (or turn them in at the Sept 7 DCG Meeting @ REI). Forms are available on the official TAG Fall Cave-In website (tagfallcavein.org). We'll also have copies of the forms at the September meeting.
**Note: We had hoped to have online pre-registration available this year, but life happens and we will have to wait until the event to process credit cards. So, please make sure to snail mail in those forms soon!

Check out this year's T-shirt design... We're like 90% of the way there and we couldn't wait to share it with you. So, we didn't (wait that is). We've put them up on the tagfallcavein.org site as well as our Facebook Fan Page (join us!).

Monkey Butt Run for Relief
This year we've found some awesome volunteers who have put together a 5K run for Saturday morning. This 5K is to raise awareness of an affliction called Monkey Butt (MB for the more squeamish). Learn more about MB and register for the run at http://tagfallcavein.org/monkeybutt.asp.

Articles are still needed for the Cave-In Guidebook
Do you have a caving related tattoo? Did you have Valhalla tattooed in a region that needs photoshop? We want to put your story in the guidebook. Send your submissions by August 20 to gueditor@dogwoodcitygrotto.com.

We still have volunteer slots available for registration. Volunteers that work two 2-hour shifts (4 hours total) will recieve a volunteer t-shirt. And really, you'll want the volunteer t-shirt. Email Connie Cody at concody@yahoo.com to sign up for a slot.
