I think we should all chip in and buy this land and house.

Cool!
When facts are few and far between, hypothesis defies all logic, as to how an individual came to the conclusion, that the point that they are trying to make, is indeed true and not just the fabrications of a deluded mind.

funny how they always think cavers have money.

Its not a bad little house... the price seems a bit high considering the house you're getting and the property. Either that, or the taxes seem abnormally low. (I'm used to NJ taxes... get rid of the decimal point to get the rate for NJ)

As for the caves, I see some entrance shots and a room. For more than a quarter of a million dollars I want something more than a glorified rock shelter, especially if I'm buying in one of the big caving areas. Heck, I'd take a chance on some sinkholes over a place that has an indiscovered large system before a known cave that's only a coupld hundred feet long.

Basically, it seems like they're selling the caves and tossing the house in gratis. Which means they probably want a caver or a nature lover to buy the place far above it's market value.

Its 40 acres, which is good, so you won't have neighbors. Good thing with all the windows in the house.

Also I found an ad that says that the 4 caves are partially explored with @ 4 miles of passages mapped. But that could be 4 miles for the 4 caves together, isn't really clear.

I lived in Mountain View for a while. If I remember correctly its 2-3 hours to the nearest super wal-mart if thats the kind of store your thinking about. Mountain View has the tinyest wal-mart I'v ever seen and it still closed by 8 p.m. when I lived there.

Good idea - since I am so close to the ozarks - Ithink I should be the official caretaker after it's paid for.

Does it come with a mule? (Think a post-war Gone With The Wind scene).

Well if the caves are significant enough then it would be a good additonal preserve for the NSS... but we still got to clear our Great X debt first don't we?

Neat virtual tour though... :kewl:
