New Aerial Photographs online for KY

Kentucky Division of Geographic Information (DGI) has just released the new color aerials for the state of KY. Most of are dated in 2004 vs the early 1990's ones that have been on the net until now.

Resolution is still one meter but the new ones are in color so items show up better.

Info on the new ones can be found at http://techlines.ky.gov/2006/jan/color_imagery.htm and the direct download is at ftp://ftp.kymartian.ky.gov/fsa/ (note the grid system can be hard to figure out. Let me know if you need help being I have it in my GIS software)

The older B&W photos can still be downloaded at: http://ogi.ky.gov/data/doi.htm

Also Jefferson and Fayette Co (Louisville and Lexington) have 1 foot color photos online now at ftp://ftp.kymartian.ky.gov/hlsimagery/
