Batmanagement in the house

Hi!
I am hoping someone here will be able to help. I wish to clear out some bats.. small ones, brown with white stripes on wings...that seem to have made the awning near my bedroom their home.
I dont want to make major alterations to the building.. the awning is a permanent structure but open on two sides... closing will be a problem. this is government quarters and modifications will require all the paper that these bats will help to conserve!
So if there is a way to lure them away.. I shall be grateful for suggestions.
