Hello all...

I am looking to do some caving in Alabama or southern TN this weekend. I would like to do a dry cave or as little water as possible. I have one person in the caving party that is more sensitive than most to cold.

That having been said, I was wondering if anyone could make some suggestions on a horizontal dry cave in the areas mentioned.

Any information would be awesome.

Dry is relative!

Limrock Blowing is very nice but you will get your ankles wet. (If you don't take the proper side passage, you will get wet to your waist.)

Tumbling rock. That sounds good. I have heard of this one, though I have never been. So this cave is mostly dry except for some stream crossings here and there???

Yes, TRock is a great choice as well. You may not even get your feet wet!
Howards is also a good one.
I fully endorse both of those suggestions which escaped me this morning.

I have looked into Tumbling Rock and it looks really good. I have been to howard's and it is a great cave too.

Any other suggestions in the event that the land owners at TR are not there?
