But Wayne, I'm not a moderator on the Colorado Cavers Forum, only the US Cavers forum. I have little experience with PHP software, which is why I asked.

I could care either way who Plethie is. Their posts are both entertaining and informative, at least to me. I hope whoever it is keeps posting their opinion. Diversity is a good thing.

Hey Barbara, I'll gladly share half my winnings with ya. (I'm just that kind of guy. )

Happy Thankgiving Day to all, and be safe in your travels on this day of celebration!!!

Oops. I thought you were and were one of the first mods there. That explains your question, then. My bad.

Interesting . . . I never noticed that. However, I'm not sure it is that useful to have someone's IP address. I just went and checked out myself and Glenn (my hubby). We both show up as having multiple IP addresses (I didnt' compare to see if they were both the same addresses). That is strange to me as we always post from the same computer. Another interesting fact is the IP address shows as Atlanta (we live and post from Sewanee TN) and I have never ever been on a computer anywhere near Atlanta . . . though Glenn did live in the Atlanta area about 4 years ago. The computer we use was purchased from a guy in Atlanta while we were living in Birmingham so maybe that is the reason it is all messed up.

Based on what my IP address shows one could assume I don't really live in Sewanee.

Glenn corrects me. . . the computer we bought in Atlanta was fried by lightning . . . this one was purchased from Danger Judy's brother in Birmingham.

Gotta go now. . . driving to Birmingham to eat :turkey: with my mom, aunt, son, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchild (and of course Glenn)

I like Pleth's posts . . . bad English and all and don't really care where they originate. ;)

Martha, your on dial up, so you have multiple IP's listed, which is normal. From the hints that Phil provided, I say Plethy is also on a dial up connection.

Protosciurus speleoensis...................I love it. Another sock puppet account to guess at.

Let's see here. Name means old squirrel cave scientist from pre-stone age.

My guess is........................."B"

Anyone else care to take a guess at our new members identity?
