thats a good idea, i think i could be a tour guide for a summer, certianly better qualified for those positions being a caver. i spent some time looking for contact information for anyone from the Crawford-Pigeon mountian national recreation area, which is home to Ellison's and Pettijohn's cave, to name a few but was unable to find any contact names.

Yea, right name makes a difference.

I'm not sure about the noobs there now, but I know that Alan P. is VERY knowledgeable about the area (Park Ranger), and is a caver himself. He always eluded to many things about the mtn, but we could never get him on a trip with us to show us....from what I understand he's retired now.
