On 10 august I will go in Iceland. Not by air, but on off-road vehicle, from Rome (Italy) to Iceland.
Yes, a very long trip...
Do you know caves in Iceland? I will take my equipment and I hope to visit the underground of this isle.

Don't know that there's much limestone in Iceland, but it is known for its glacier caves. In fact the deepest glacier cave in the world used to be Kverkfjöll (525m!), but these things change from year to year. Try

It has a lot of lava tubes also I believe. Dr. Bill Halliday has been to a lot of them I think. He should be in the NSS Members guide.
