Passing of Vance Lowery

It is with deep sadness that I write of the passing of our dear friend Vance Lowery of Hickory, NC. Many of you who have attended an OTR over the last 32 years will remember Vance as the banjo player for the Buzz City Grotto band.

Vance was as outgoing a person as ever existed and he would greet each person he met with a smile and conversation, making even the most shy stranger feel welcome.

There will be a memorial service for Vance sometime during OTR. Stop by the Buzz City Grotto tent at OTR for details.
