Howard's Waterfall Cave Gating?

Postby BrianFrank » May 31, 2019 11:56 pm

I just heard from a friend that part of Howard's was gated because of Indian drawings. I have been in this cave 4 times over the last 35 years and have not seen anything resembling Indian drawings so this was an interesting surprise. What I have seen is graffiti and other things that made me sick.

Checking with SCCI at https://bit.ly/2QDRQ02 I see that my friend was correct.

I have the latest map of Howard's, can anyone let me know what section that the gate is located at? I never noticed Indian drawings and I have explored about 90% of the cave. Upset I missed them:-(

Thanks!

The gate is just inside the entrance. I'ts after the turn to the "skeleton painting" and before the "snoopy's doghouse" area. Also, where did you find the map?
