Apparently the TCS doesn't have a map for either of those caves. It is odd that there isn't one for Ruby Falls- I'll betcha the owners have one!
Neeld Weld Cave is on government land, so as long as the park service doesn't have a problem with it, I suppose you can explore it to your heart's content. Let us know if you find a connection.

I don't know for sure, but more than likely the park service is still forbidding cavers from entering caves on park land because of WNS.

Thanks for checking Trog. I have all the Tennessee pins when I traded an nss member for my ga pin mapping project. Thise pins came with no data. Haha, I wish I had time to check everything I see. If I ever do it'll make a fun post.

No problem, man.
I just joined the TCS a year or so ago. It is the most expensive of the three TAG state surveys, so I haven't re-upped this year. But I still have all the info in my files.

Neeld's weld is approximately 350' long and has a 90' offset pit. The cave is connected to Bynum's cave. Bynum's is parallel to Ruby Falls but not connected.
