Wonder Cave Project

Here is a great article with pictures by Kelly Smallwood. Went through much of this cave n the early 90's and can't wait to see the new map later this year. Great work Kelly!

I went on the lantern tour many years ago. It would have been much more fun to tour the cave with regular caving lights and permission
to go off trail. Kelly's pictures make the cave look much better than I remember it by lantern light.

I've never heard about this place but I need to admit that it's stunning. Thanks for sharing the article with us!

One of the Kelly photos leads me to wonder, what, if anything, is buried in the cave?

Something we vowed to never find out! Honestly, I do not suspect anyone is really buried in there but it sure did make for some great ghost stories when we were camping in there.

I literally have hundreds of photos but my wix site only allows me to upload so many, sigh.... For anyone who is interested and in the TAG area, I will be giving my Wonder Cave Presentation again for the Dogwood City Grotto on September 9th at the new Inner Mountain Outfitters location in LaFayette, Georgia.
