Have you already been to any caves in the area you want to visit?

Hi, and yes we've been to a bunch down there. Bone-Norman, Culverson Creek, Friars Hole, McClungs, Paxtons, Hamilton and Trout, Sharps, and Boar Hole. I think that's it.

Have you been to the Great White Way in Norman? Definitely worth bringing a camera...

Norman has much nicer places than the GWW passage (which is a truly depressing place), but I hesitate to advertise their whereabouts. It is hard to recommend caves or passages both beautiful and accessible... most in that area are pretty degraded by now.

No we haven't made it to the GWW yet. We may end up doing a thru trip and take a detour there. Thanks for the info!!

Its sad that most accessible caves have been trashed over the years. Up here in the northeast very few caves have escaped damage and vandalism. That's why we travel south so much. A friend suggested Elkhorn and Sinks of Gandy. So I'm trying to find info on those

Just curious: Why do you find GWW "depressing"?

Because I can imagine what it looked like once.
