Friars Hole map

Postby Steve_S » Jan 28, 2017 10:32 am

Hey there cavers! Does anyone know where I can find a map of Friars Hole? There's a few WV guidebooks in the NSS store but they don't list which caves are in it. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks and happy caving!

Steve,
Look for WVASS Bulletin #10, Caves and Karst Hydrology of Southern Pocahontas County and the Upper Spring Creek Valley
I believe it's still available from WVASS, and should includes a map of Friars. I think you need to be an NSS member to buy it

If you're going to be caving in WV a lot, it's worth buying as many of the Bulletins as you can get your hands on.

If I lived down that way I'd buy them all lol. Unfortunately I live in Connecticut and only get down to WV once or twice a year
