Cave Fest
Posted: Sep 6, 2016 8:33 amIf you missed Cave Fest, you will now have to wait another year to attend. This was my first time to attend and I thoroughly
enjoyed it. The Caver's Paradise Campground was nice with lots of shady spots and many flat ones. Lots of caves in the area
and the camp ground owner, Maureen Handler, even gave me a tour of the whole camp ground in her side by side ATV so
I would know where everything was and so I could choose a spot to my liking. Weather was good and the banquet they had
on Saturday night was excellent. The event is sponsored for Sewanee Grotto. I am amazed how many cavers my own age
that I have never met before.
