My friend Emily asked if there are any cave guide jobs maybe similar to a rafting guide over summer for caving. I know joining a grotto there is plenty of ways to help out... figured I would ask if any such job exist. Maybe Mammoth Cave Tours?

Yeah, if you want to be a paid cave guide then your best bet would be to work at a commercial cave like Mammoth. The closest commercial caves to you and your friend Emily (who I assume is also from Georgia) would be Raccoon Mountain Caverns and Ruby Falls in Tennessee and Manitou Cave in Alabama. These three commercial caves are within about two hours of Atlanta.

From what I understand, it's not exactly a lucrative career choice. I think most cave tour guides probably make around minimum wage.

I know that Racoon Mountain looks for new guides usually when school starts in the fall (that doesn't help you does it). You may want to go visit Patty Perlaky and let her know your interest come the summer. Patty is the owner, or was a few years ago. Super nice lady and very accommodating to large children groups who want to do wild tours or overnight tours.
