aaa Georgia Speleological Survey - Call for Articles

Postby georgiacaver » Nov 16, 2014 4:55 pm

Fellow cavers, please know that as the year winds down, the GSS is
preparing its 2014 GSS Bulletin. We need your articles! The Bulletin
seeks original manuscripts, maps and photos concerning the scientific
study, history, and exploration of Georgia caves.See
www.caves.org/survey/gss for the index of articles, to get ideas, etc.

We are especially proud to provide a forum for the publication of
mapping and survey projects that involve Georgia's caves. Projects that
are "in process" but not 100% complete are also welcome and may be
published in the 2014 Bulletin or archived for publication at a later
date. Now is the time for those of you with such projects to submit your
narratives, photographs, and maps for publication and recording in
Georgia's "official" speleological publication.

Please submit articles for the Bulletin via email (or send us a
hyperlink to your download site) to georgiacaver@gmail.com. Please send
articles as a plain text format and/or file. Also format any
accompanying maps, graphics or photos as separate files in the common
high resolution formats as appropriate. For larger articles and
graphics, you may send us the web link to your download site address by
emailing to georgiacaver@gmail.com.

My US postal mail address is unchanged from previous years. Those that
need it or are grabbing for a friend, please get it from the GSS web
site at www.caves.org/survey/gss.

February 20th, 2015, is the deadline for submissions. If you have any
questions, please drop me an email at the email address above.

Thanks for your interest.
