Journey to the Center of the Earth movie

Postby tmazanec1 » Aug 25, 2014 12:14 pm

I saw this movie many years ago. How does it look to a caver?
All I remember is a scene where one of the explorers chips a crystal off a wall formation and walks away.
Drip...drip...drip...drip
Pow! Jet of water shoots out
BAROOM!! ROAR! as wall explodes and tsunami shoots out.
Explorers nearly drown.

That's the exact reason cavers do not break formations. The fear of huge amounts of water rapidly shooting out. :funny post:

I've always liked the movie. Isn't Pat Boone in it, too? Horrible actor and singer.
