Caver License Plates on the Web

Postby CaverScott » Aug 20, 2014 10:19 am

Do you or a pal have Caving oriented license plate on the web? If so, the NSS Pinterest account would like to add it (Pin it) to the Caving License Board. Please just provide the link to the image and/or webpage here and we will be happy to add it!

Example: I found my plate accidentally!

This website has had this display of cavers plates for several years.

If I had one, it would say "Trogman."

Let's see if a FB link works: click on it. I think it works....

Also, had Caves, Hohlen and RTFM..I think Bob Liebman has them all in his collection.

I just looked up what Hohlen means and it turns out that it is German for caves. Very interesting. I had no idea. You learn something new every day. But what is the meaning/significance of RTFM, Phil Winkler? Thanks.

RTFM is a technical phrase for "Read The 'Fine' Manual" :)

A fellow from Boston Grotto was at this year's convention doing something similar. Maybe you all should get together and update the whole gamut of plates...
