Overheard: a non-caver talking about caving:

"I'm not claustrophobic in any everyday sense, but the thought of squeezing through the convoluted rectum of Mother Earth like so much human-shaped excrement gives me the heebie jeebiez."

Can't say I've ever thought of it that way either. I've certainly felt that way on many occasions though.
