Yes, not only had I seen the video - I was talking to the three cavers involved in the pub a few weeks ago. They though the whole thing was hilarious!

I got the feeling that the fellow in front, the one who the stuck guy handed his helmet to, was a little annoyed with the stuck guy.

That's really funny, because that video has inspired me to look into caving in Yorkshire. I've been planning for years to go to England for a couple weeks, as a tourist with my sister; now I'm thinking of staying longer and getting some caving and paddling in.

There may have been a touch of real danger by plugging the hole and backing up the water where he seemed to panic the most. Just saying.
