Necturus in Ellisons

I was just on rope and starting to head out of the warm up pit yesterday after a day in Ellison's when I noticed the creature below in the pool below the waterfall. I shot the picture in haste, and wish I'd have taken more time, but I was last up and ready to be out. I'm assuming it's Necturus maculosus (The Common Mud Puppy), though Walker County is at the extrmeme southern edge of its range. Anyone else seen these in the system?
